Really appreciate this being a stand alone piece and not a diatribe in the comments under women's articles about rape.

Being a stand alone piece gives it the attention it deserves instead of being a whataboutism to discount rape and disregard women creators. ALL sexual assault survivors deserve better than having their assaults be used as selfish political or gender war fodder.
