Rape existed long before Western Civilization. So no, white people did not invent rape.

Adam invented rape, according to holy scriptures. Adam was not white, if you believe Adam and Eve were the first human beings and the first sapien humans came from east Africa, so far as we know.

Rape was certainly more rare in all non dominance hierarchy societies and it wasn't a weapon of abuse or part of conquest. Rape in that regard stems from the idea that one type of person has the right to another type of person because they're better or more valuable than the second type of person. It's a take what you want model because of superiority beliefs which diminishes the humanity of the other.

White people did not invent that. It is a natural and inevitable part of that damned pyramid. As long as the pyramid is chosen as the model for organization, rape will naturally arise as a result.

White people didn't always live under dominance hierarchy either. They were conquered and colonized by Rome. Once that happened, they adopted and adapted to patriarchal organization and used rape in the same way the Romans did.

After the fall/collapse of Rome, there wasn't enough left of their previous cultures left for white people to go back to. The memory had been erased and anyone who tried to hold to the old ways was put to death. Families were destroyed. People were brutalized. So they stayed with what had become normalized.

It's true that western civilization, white people, brought that model to the new world, with rape as a weapon like it is in Patriarchy.

But rape has always been around in all societies.

And once any civilization adopts dominance hierarchy, rape becomes a weapon of self destruction as well as subjugation of others. Dominance hierarchy requires occasional bloodlettings to maintain itself. Rape, especially mass rape is one of those bloodlettings.
