Problem here is threefold. One, we had a reasonable regulation of abortions with Roe. Read the decision. It was very thoughtful.

Two, a fetus is not viable outside the womb until 24 weeks. That’s nearly the 3rd trimester, not the second.

Third, late term abortions are extremely rare and only happen when something has gone seriously wrong, like severe fetal deformities the baby cannot survive or extreme risk to the mother, again, thanks to Roe. Those are going to be triage situations mostly where only one life can be saved. If there’s an injury and there’s time, and the baby is past viability, they don’t abort, they take the baby via C-section. This narrative from the forced birth cult that women are getting late stage abortions willy nilly because they got a wild hair up their butt and decided they didn’t want to be a parent after all is ludicrous. Absolutely ludicrous.

The one going around saying abortionists are murdering babies after they’ve been born (by abortion) is even more ludicrous.
