Pretty good though I think people mostly want a smallish, but as big as necessary to work right govt that is functional and not psychotic or unhinged. Hyperbole there but hopefully you get my drift. People are sick of the deadlock and partisanship mucking everything up including all our lives. They want a govt that works for them and allows them to go about their lives. When you've had one protest/riot/insurrection after another for several years, the govt is fucking up. Big time. While they sit up in high, laughing and getting richer.

The other thing is, I wonder how much all these radical preachers openly talking about abolishing voting rights, openly murdering LGBTQ citizens, forced marriages for women, death penalty for a woman seeking abortion, and incarceration without charge or trial until you give birth if they don't like your search history had to do with the Republican splash as well. Once Republicans got into bed with Christian fundamentalists, those fundies become a standard bearer for what "family values" means to the party. The standard bearer leads the way for the party. Those fundies are preaching a lot of hate, out loud and proud. They're talking about ending the American Way of life.
