Pretty good article overall. But, what you call revenge, many others see as self preservation. I am one of those women. I've been taking an extended break from dating anyways and this has convinced me to make it permanent. I've been leaning toward permanence anyway, but yeah, this cinched it. It's just not worth the risk or the hassle.

It's true there is a proverbial third finger being thrown. But it's not directed at "men", it's directed at a few men and their handmaids. Particularly Alieto and Barrett. So yeah, the "domestic supply of (white) babies" makes me wants to point out, middle fingers blazing, that while she might enjoy spending the bulk of her life pretending to be a cow, not everyone does. Alieto's slobbering all over the spectral memory of Matthew Hale, the witch burner whom he mentions more than women in his "opinion", makes me want to .... well, this
is a public forum so let's just say if he's so enamored with seeing people burn maybe he should volunteer for first roasted. Seems only fair.

As for young people, I think more are probably knowledgeable than you're aware of. How can I put this delicately. The young feel abandoned by the more elder set. Laws and protections undermining their future keep passing. They're kind of done with us older people. You have to have proved that you actually give a damn about them.beforehand for many of them to legitimately respond. So, I you just asked a group of random young women at a bar what they thought, they likely just played dumb as a kind of "ok boomer" because you intrudes into their evening and they expected you to berate them for whatever they said. Consequences of all the hostility and mockery directed at young people over the last several years.

My daughter is 17. She knew about it before I did and I had been keeping an ear out. She had some friends over and they made emergency plans. They picked my brain some because I'd already built my "emergency" fund for a problem man.

So they're going through a practice abortion now. They're looking for doctors who will sterilize. They're learning how they might be tracked by the state and figuring workarounds. They're figuring out how to track their period old school or building their own private apps to do so. They're thinking about quitting dating till after college. Etc.

But yeah, its hitting them a little differently. They hadn't reached the age of majority yet where they can vote and a lot of them are from conservative families so they're not thinking politically. They're just biding their time and thinking about disruption. That's what I'm seeing, for what it's worth.
