Powell isn’t a politician. She’s a lawyer. Lawyers may make claims, interpretations, or present different scenarios but they cannot outright lie or they can be disbarred for perjury.

She lied. Her defense is an admission that she knew she was lying. She might not have been in a court of law when she did it, but due to her profession, she should have conducted herself as though she was because she was lying about political and potential legal issues.

She claimed to have proof that the machines were rigged, amongst other lies. Therefore, she can face the consequences of that lie. Personally, I hope Dominion and Smartmatic take her for every penny she’s got, that she gets disbarred or professionally disciplined, and spends some time in jail on a conspiracy and incitement of insurrection charge if not manslaughter for the death of Brian Sitnick. She’s just as guilty as the man who assaulted him because she loaded the gun and pointed the barrel. Guliani and Trump can share neighboring cells as far as I’m concerned.
