Personally, I think the country would have been better off if he had been impeached out of office. We would have had more competent governance during the pandemic.

It still would have been bad because Pence isn’t exactly who you want in charge either as he’s more likely to read the pandemic as God’s punishment on America for allowing homosexuals than the more likely reality of this is God reminding us of why we should be mindful of who we elect into that seat.

But it wouldn’t have been as chaotic or slipshod. He likely would have kept the GOP from making health recommendations political points, he wouldn’t have undermined or gutted heath institutions, we would still be working with WHO, and things would have progressed in order.
