Perhaps I’m becoming paranoid, but this seems like a scene in a bad play we’ve all seen before.

Privileged little princess says something asinine. Internet goes insane. Privileged little princess faux apologizes. Internet bickers about sincerity. Privileged little princess chides, "everyone makes mistakes. I’m still learning." Internet bickers more about forgiveness and 2nd chances. Blah blah blah.

As you pointed out, she’s not original. She rides coattails. There’s just been a spectacular set of coattails go by for her to jump on and now that the whole Kanye drama has died down somewhat, she needs attention.

TwitterVerse has already been speculating if she will stay relevant without Kanye. The sharks were starting to circle.

We already know that whole family exploits people for money. Why wouldn’t they exploit their emotions for fame?
