Peace is a good thing. My point is this is at best a cease fire not long or lasting peace.

Also, it’s insane to think they’re not thinking strategically about after Trump vs. if Trump steals the election. You better bet the whole world is and making plans for either eventuality. It’s good sense to not act till that current is decided. That’s not peace, not really. Other than deflecting attention, there’s a good chance that treaty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.

I’d love to see peace and prosperity in the middle east. I’d love to see peace and prosperity around the world. I’d love to see peace and prosperity at home. I want to be hopeful, but blind and/or false hope usually ends badly.

Honestly, I’m just not seeing it here. For the record, I hope I’m wrong and you’re right.
