Like, right now I'd be willing to put hard money down that here in the US women's overall interest in sex is way down because of project 2025 and the political situation. I'd also be willing to put money down that it's slightly higher in younger women because they want to have their fun before birth control gets banned.

We already know sterilization queries and apps are significantly up in men and women and there's been an increase in interest in long term birth control implants and IUDs. There's renewed interest in male birth control.

The current cultural environment is not conducive to an increase in sex. Women feel under threat (because we are) and have since the protection of Roe fell.

I'd be willing to bet as well that if you looked at recessions and depressions with a lot of job loss, you'd see men's libidos waning during those time frames.

It's also true that over the course of our lives, natural peaks and valleys in sexual desire are going to happen for a variety of reasons.
