Outside of motherhood, THAT is probably the most significant thing about being a woman that affects your day to day. Cold hard facts. You will never ever ever get to have an opinion, have a passion, speak in public, have a thought, or do any damned thing without somebody somewhere using it to judge, condemn, harass, berate, put you down, mock, blame you for the word of society, or chastise you for not doing your wanhood in a manner that is pleasing to them.

Ever.

It will not be just men. Plenty of handmaids out there. In fact, putting it another way, a fair number of Transwomen have jumped on the Handmaid bandwagon. In my opinion, they are destroying the ability of the Trans community to gain inclusion.

This is what it means to be a woman.
