Only thing to do is confine the pecking so that it's not creatig too much pressure or let the system die and replace it with something else.
There's to much money in not restraining it.
There's not enough interest in replacing it while we still have one hand on the wheel and can exert some control on what happens next.
So it seems we will let it die it's natural death, which means what happens next will most likely be one of of two things. Hard to predict the future, but I think it's clear we'll never be the same again.
