Only if you equate stable with static.
But nothing involving living beings or living systems is ever static.
Doesn't mean it isn't stable. Life changes and so adaptability is crucial to any living system.
So yes, there will be a modest amount of push and pull, or to put it better....ebb and flow in keeping the balance.
And that IS the stability.
In referring to the current dramas surrounding gender....part of the reason there is turmoil is because gender dynamics became too static, forced, and extreme. Things like economics, child rearing, industrialization, technology, and education all changed; this made the static system unstable and unsustainable.
That's why there is such a push right now back to a more dynamic form of gender expressions.
A truly stable system demands it. You must have some variance to handle the bobbles or ripples cause by changes in other aspects of the overall system. Otherwise, the foundation of the system cracks and ultimately fails.
