I like your article overall, but I think the waiting to be swept off your feet is problematic.

I believe it's caused a lot of problems to think, describe, and talk about love as though it's a treasure hunt or a quest where you have to get the right combo or complete all these things to be awarded a prize.

Better to think of love and romance on terms of gardening or cultivation.
