Okay, so your whole post here is participating in right wing hysteria and lying propaganda. And you may it all out in breadcrumbs.

According to your article, Kent State students are protesting to have him uninvited to come speak. Protesting students does not automatically translate to University action or acquiescence. Any campus rape protest would disabuse you of that ridiculous notion because time and time again Universities refuse to change their policies, protect known abusers over victims, disregard safety incentives, or just generally give a rat's ass.

Secondly you read some articles by some guy and just take his ipinion that the reason they're protesting is because they're scared of being "triggered". That's lazy and irresponsible. Talked to any young people lately? Okay, so we've got a bunch of adults "explaining" to other adults why these students are protesting but nobody asked the students? My God. Where's the integrity here? You're reporting on a story in a journalistic fashion as an opinion piece but you couldn't be bothered to interview, follow up with, or research the subjects themselves?

I'd be more worried about the education you received than the ones they're supposedly being deprived of due to "triggered feelings" if I were you. Just saying.

Thirdly, you're assuming that the ask (to remove him from speaking) is the goal and/or the message or that the protest itsekf is even directed at Rittenhouse. You've presented zero basis to believe that's the case. Welcome to the world of social media and constant misinformation and propaganda campaigns. Young people grew up with this. Theyve already soent their entire lives being trained on how lies are soread via social media and how to counteract them with boots on the ground protests as well as their own social media activism. They're experts at it.

I can pretty much guarantee you this is not about triggered feelings. You're perpetuating a right wing BoogeyMan Myth. In fact, you can oretty much guess that any time you hear "triggered feelings" or "censoring alternative viewpoints" you're dealing with right wing attempt to censor free speech and a propaganda/misinformation campaign. Particularly when it's attached to the "won't anyone think of the children" tactic.

Though, in fairness, the left uses "won't anyone think of the children" often enough too.

Your article is a fail for me. It's a big nothing burger oozing with noise sauce. Consider finding an editor or taking a journalism course. You missed the story.
