Oh that's cool! I'm in Arizona now, Phoenix specifically so I don't see that many Barred Owls anymore, but I'm college I volunteered at the Raptor Rehab facility and I got to work with a few Barred Owls during my time there.

I keep seeing some kind of hawk around. It looks like a Red Shouldered Hawk, but not quite like the ones back east. I'm not sure their habitat extends this far west either. It also flies a little different that what I'm used to seeing, but that might be because of the city and how they tend to make a thermal geyser because of all the concrete.
