Oh sure. I wasn't saying that as a criticism. I get the same thing because of my own anonymity so it's just experiential recognition of the phenomenon at play.

A lot of people don't realize how truly weird people can be, especially with any kind of notoriety.

I think I've mentioned before that yes, SC is my initials. And yes, a particular kind of notoriety attached to my identity is ONE of the reasons for my anonymity. It's a tangental thing, not that there's anything noteworthy about me.

It's not the only reason, but it is one. I'd also like to maintain some professional and private life separation.

But I do understand why some peoole feel disadvantaged because of it. Even though, in reality their entire online persona could be a fake. Just because they're being "open" about who they are, doesn't mean they're being honest about it. And you have no way of knowing that either for the most part. They tend to not think that part through.

Wouldn't mind reading your book. Celtic Chameleon says it was really really good. She's got good taste, I think.
