Texas has sued the FDA over the abortion pill for the sole purpose of making the abortion pill illegal across the US. They shopped around and filed the case in Amarillo TX because that district only has one judge, who is staunchly anti-abortion, and was a Trump pick.

Case to be heard soon. Biden will appeal, but in the meantime, if you need/want an abortion before it gets litigated out , even in a blue state, you’re out of luck. You’ll have to abort by procedure rather than pill or travel to Canada, Mexico, or elsewhere to access the pill. Or the underground.

Naturally they (Fundamentalist Conservatives) want it to be appealed all the way up to the Supreme Court because we all know what will happen then.

There are Fundie leaders and pastors preaching to their women congregants that if they die, that was God’s plan for their life and they should embrace it and start cranking out babies because that’s their purpose.

Handmaid’s Tale indeed. Buckle up people, we aren’t anywhere close to the end of Christian Fundie depravity being foisted on all of us in the name of God.
