Of course I have thoughts. Until I can get to them, I have a name for you to look up. He's was an American educator from NYC, who won Teacher of the Year.

He's spent the last years of his career as a national advocate for education reform oppositionally, most often, to "education reform" on offer from politicians, mom groups, and teacher unions.

You can find him on YouTube. I won't lie, his voice is incredibly droning and .monotone so there's some real suffering involved in his videos, but he makes some spectacular points.

Reason why I want you to look into him some is because it looks like Finland have implemented a lot of the things he advocated years ago, from that same movement, which was worldwide. Finland proves these ideas work.

I also liked his review of how the greatest early Americans were educated. What the focus was. What their education included. It took two hours to present a 10 minute bullet list on that one, in that monotone droning, but we got there in the end.
