Obviously I did and responded accordingly.

It’s not my fault you’re making ignorant statements that are inaccurate and without context.

Read some history, not just Christian propaganda.

For example, a lot of those early Christian nations that outlawed slavery only did so for fellow Christians. It was still acceptable to keep heathens as slaves. So they weren’t entirely as morally magnanimous and advanced as you’d have us believe, were they?

The Book of Deuteronomy outlines how slaves were to be treated and the constraints under which you could have one and when you could not, as a people or as a nation (even if a wandering one). That was before Christ, ergo it wasn’t a Christian decision, was it? Yeah. And weren’t those people slaves who had fled slavery from Egypt (also not a Christian nation) by Pharaoh’s decree, in other words, by law once Pharaoh spoke the words?

I know you’re claiming to be an atheist, which frankly isn’t believable but whatever; do you even realize how embarrassing it is to be making such proclamations on behalf of a group whose Holy book and “shared history" with Jews contradicts said proclamation with smacking clarity? This is very basic Sunday School for primary school age kids stuff here.

Christians have got enough problems of their own creation right now. They really don’t need your help making it all worse.

The world exists beyond the West or the modern era. Your claim is still only marginally and partially true if that’s all you consider.

But we know the world is much bigger and has housed many peoples over thousands of years, don’t we?

Well, the rest of us do.
