Number 1. I specifically said you have to find a commensurate push back without being obnoxious or aggressively rude yourself. My original comment gave appropriate examples.

Number 2. Again, a boss who doesn’t get it is a boss doesn’t respect his own business any more than he values his employees. Restaurant and bar businesses thrive off ambiance and environment. They and you have a vested interest in protecting a pleasant environment. You’ll all make more money. If they can’t wrap their heads around that, they don’t deserve you. In short order you can find a similar job with a boss who wants to succeed and understands what that means.

Number 3. In the end, we all work to create the society we live in. False ideologies like “the customer is always right" have led to a more widespread and unchallenged culture of abuse. We have allowed ourselves to grow into a culture of bullies and victims. Clearly, those ideologies are about as correct and effective as “trickle down economics". So why insanely continue on with something that isn’t working? How bad does it have to get before you’re willing to try something else? Before we learn to say “no farther".

Politely asking bullies to change their behavior will not lead to them changing their behavior. They have no reason to do so and not doing so is free entertainment.

They will not change until their behavior becomes unacceptable en masse. That’s true for chimps and gorillas. It’s true for us too.
