Not so much angry anymore. Just disappointed and want nothing to do with most of them.

Don't waste your prayers on me, I'm good since I left it behind and deconstructed. If you want to pray, pray for yourselves. You need it more than me because people are waking up to the lies, hypocrisy, and abuse and leaving the church. Even Beth Moore has left the SBC because of spiritual abuse.

And yeah, I come from an area where a preacher murdered his wife by forcing her to handle poisonous snake during a service. A place where there's been a lot of corruption, drug abuse within the clergy, a lot of spiritual abuse a lot of fraud and mismanagement of church funds, and a lot of abuse of children thanks to Dr Dobbs', "spare the rod" ideology.

What spirit people had left the coal companies, Walmart, and those God damned Sacklers didn't destroy, the "church" made sure to. There's little there but pain now, one huckster after another thumping a Bible and bilking what little money desperate people have left. It's sick.

So maybe you should realize that your experience isn't the only one either and instead of trying to gaslight legit criticisms of the faith with all this #NotAllChristians bullshit and promising empty prayers, you could spend that time evaluating very REAL problems within the church at large and do something about it instead of blind and blanket denial.
