Not really. But this is actually a good catch.
Fact is, feminism has the same problem Christianity does. An open door policy and the paradox that in order to work as is believed, it has to be an open policy.
I've been meaning to write an article about this, a series actually.
But to just bare bones it.....
There's a difference in identifying as a Christian and living a Christian life just as there's a difference in identifying as a feminist and living a life focused on feminist ideology.
The first is a club membership, the second is disciplined and dedicated approach to how you live your life.
You know what a fair weather friend is, right? You can spot a lot by keeping that adage in mind. If you are truly disciplined and dedicated to the ideology, it will be impossible to be a good time Charlie or a fair weather friend about it. You could never have been flippant. And you would never speak that way, regardless of your tone or style. Right? There's what's being said and how it's being said. Just because someone is passionate, provocative, aggressive, emotional, or even profane or speaking from a place of deep pain doesn't mean they're being crazy or hateful toward men.
Woman does not equal feminist.
Feminist does not equal misandrist.
