Not really. There are no masculine traits or feminine traits. Not really. It's all perception. There's a lot of linguistic sleight of hand.

Men DO need to adopt more traits and skillsets that have been boxed and labeled as "feminine".

Lookit. If youre lonely, the solution is companionship. You're not going to be able to have meaninffuk and fulfilling companionship with someone by insisting on dominating them. You have to communicate. You have to share. You have to be somewhat vulnerable. You have to be patient. You have to nurture that relationship.

Or else you're not going to be getting what you need out of it.

But you want to go about it as a man in a manner that holds to the integrity of manhood. In other words, there is a way for men to "nurture" that is distinctly masculine. There's a way to show "care and compassion" that is distinctly masculine.

Man or woman, you need a full skillset to thrive in life. But you also need to be able to do those things in ways that speak to you and don't diminish your status on the totem pole, how others perceive you.
