For one, there's evidence that's just another myth.

For two, even if we assume it's true, it's not the bid deal it's made out to be.

It's only the ladt few months that pregnancy is so cumbersome that hunting would be challenging. Even so, you could switch to hunting smaller game or sit and wait by a bait rather than tracking.

As far as nursing goes, same sort of thing. You don't nurse 24/7. As the article stated, many women hunted with their children in tow. It's likely all mothers fed the tribes children, so a huntress could be assured her child would be fed by another if she was late returning or especially needed on a long hunting trip.
