Not really. They’re saying you don’t get to beg off because it gets rough. Certainly not to the degree you were ready and willing to take the wife/mom over the coals and she’s the one person who may be completely innocent here.

You know what? Even if your interpretation is correct and most respondents want to "tar and feather" him, your response was to attack her. How is she responsible in your mind for the opinion of others about him? You maligned HER character because you don’t like that he’s being "picked on". When he’s the one who posed the question in the first place. He’s the one who opened himself to scorn. He’s the one posting private matters on the internet. It’s all HIS poor judgement.

Does she even know he posted that? Probably not. If she did, she’d likely be even more hurt. I know I would be. It was a callous, hurtful thing to do.
