Not all of us. I never see these articles. Know why?

Because I don't click the link.

This time I did, as I was more curious about what set you off than I was self preservation. I know I know.

I ended up having a good laugh. Did you notice on your feed, at the end of his piece you linked that the first one under 'other pieces by this author' suggestions for further reading was subtitled "I learned to stop wallowing"?

Come on. It's just too rich. It cost 2 whole cents. And his soul which leaked out through his bloody fingertips. Apparently. Have a laugh.

Okay, okay....so he's not doing well on mastering the art of hyperbole. He's no Shakespeare or Bon Jovi.

He knows how to market tripe well though. He's got thousands of followers and that piece has 193 comments right now. There weren't many in there that were of the 'Dude, get over yourself' variety either. They were all generally positive. I looked for a Penguin skewering but didn't find it.

He'll be on my feed now. Block block block.

Okay, back to the original question. You keep meta Medium whinging off your feed by blocking Dim Tenning. And you keep him blocked. Everyone else who pops up you don't click on their stories and click "show me less of this". If you accidentally do click on one (cause they're good at click bait titles), DO NOT READ all the way down. Soon as you realize it for what it is, take a look at their catalog and mute and/or block the author depending on their entire body of work and what you want to read.

You do have to constantly train your algorithm. Medium's algorithm is no where near as efficient as or well honed as TikTok's. That means it requires some supervision. And lots of constant pruning.

You have to choose whether or not you want to wander the wilds of Medium or whether you want a cultivated marketplace. If you choose to wander the wilds, you have to realize that most of what you run across is not going to benefit you, it will be rough terrain, there will be hazards, and the wilds will be generally unpleasant. To you.

Gardens require work on your part.
