It's not women who choose men based on their ability to provide or their willingness to protect.

It's a subset of women who prefer traditional gender tropes.

Ergo, you have choice as a man. You could choose to date women who more closely align with your values. You can have that standard. There's literally nothing stopping you but you.

Women like that are the norm now, not the exception.

Incels are men who expect women to "submit" to those traditional tropes but don't expect to have to hold up their end, which would be being able to provide and protect. They also expect said woman to be model hot while they're completely lazy slobs. That's why they're sexless. They basically want some fantasy anime chic that doesn't exist without having to meet any equitable standards themselves.

I am very interested in renegotiating the social contract. I'm just not willing to agree with a clearly bullshit narrative that's demostrably false in order to appease the feelings of a small subset of men who are perpetually aggrieved and butt hurt. That doesn't help anyone.
