No. The antithesis of love are hate, indifference, and apathy. Those qualities are not gendered phenomenon. They are choices anyone can make. As is love.

I'm sure all the gay men, lesbians, and others on the rainbow spectrum appreciate your invalidation of who and how they love. Well done.

Reciprocity is not tit for tat, tit for tit, or tat for tat. What the hell?

Reciprocity is defined as the practice of exchanging things with others for mutual benefit, especially privileges granted by one country or organization to another.
"the Community intends to start discussions on reciprocity with third countries"

Based on how it applies to nations, application in interpersonal relationships would be an exchange of mutual affection, empathy, care, respect, consideration, trust, etc. Intangible things of that nature that create a foundation upon which a relationship can be built.

What you're talking about is transactional, Exchanging services and resources in a manner where score must always be kept and arguments always surface over the value of said goods and services in relation to the ones the other partner provides. This kind of thinking creates a weak foundation that is always under stress. It's a breeding ground for festering resentments. Don't believe me; ask any marriage counselor.

Interestingly, all those resentments will put a couple who once loved each other on the road to the antithesis of love quicker than almost anything else. Wasn't that exactly the situation you were set to avoid with that little diatribe about tits and tats??

Oh the irony.

You sure showed me.
