It’s true that we are all heavily propagandized and under the constant sway of marketing manipulations. It can play on our self esteem.

Ultimately though, it’s up to us to rebuff these things collectively and as individuals.

No one forces us to buy what they’re selling. Enough financial and political pressure will change this dynamic. So too, will the public just getting smarter about it.
