No, not Game of Thrones.

My comment is based on the fact that he’s so deep into NPD that he’s sociopathic. And they tend to turn violent when they don’t get their way.

Think partner abuse when being left.

Think mass shooters events.

Think Koresh or numerous other religious cult leaders.

Think Hitler. Sure he shot himself, but he also had a plan to level all of Germany if they turned against him.

They don’t go quietly. They burn. They destroy. “If I can’t have you, no one will.”

They are incredibly vindictive and vengeful. And he matches this pattern. You’d have to be blind not to see it.

He’s in a position to do a lot of damage. He has the football, though he doesn’t need it to start a war. He could order an outright attack on protesters if the protests are still going on then. He could disrupt supply lines. He could tank the vaccine effort. He could end stimulus. He could end whatever shred of trade deals we have left. He could direct his followers to unleash hell on his opponents and finally own the libs once and for all. Etc. Etc. Etc.

There’s really no end to what he could do.

Normally, I wouldn’t be concerned due to all the other “adults in the building”. After all, it’s not like he’s the first Narcissistic President we’ve ever had, and he won’t be the last. He’s probably the first Narcissistic Sociopath though.

However, all or nearly all of the “adults” have resigned in protest or been ousted. He’s now surrounded by a pack of lackys so subservient they won’t step in. He’s negatively charismatic (very successful at “othering”) and so has a full third of the nation in complete thrall who will happily follow and protect him to the bitter end. The Republican party, knowing exactly who he is and how warped his thinking is, how criminal, have chosen party over country thus betraying us all. We cannot count on them having a tough heart to heart like they did with Nixon.

Now, none of this is to say that things can’t or won’t transition more smoothly. I hope they do. And I’m not trying to fear monger. I’m not even saying this is the most likely course of events. I’m saying it’s a remote possibility. But one we should not blind ourselves to.

I’d be willing to bet that decision makers around the world are keeping a weather eye and calculating probabilities.

Its too hard not to see all the red flag behavior, know the historic parallels, and not come to some worrisome conclusions. Again, remote possibilities.

This new tangent about Biden ending religion, hurting the Bible, and hurting God plays into instigating a civil war. If he starts using language indicative of suicidal ideation, we should all pay attention.

And as always continue to work and hope for the best.
