No, Lol. An uncle literally nicknamed Cracker because he's eat a whole box of saltines as a toddler and he got a family name handed down. There were already 4 still living at the time with the same name so "Junior" wasn't an option (as it was taken and there was a waiting list). Couldn't go by Big H, Little H or that kind of thing for the same kind of reasoning, so he went by this nickname, which, to me, made him Uncle Cracker.
We never thought anything about it because calling family kids by their favorite food was pretty common. I was Peanut. Anyways, Uncle Cracker and his wife moved up north after he was injured and couldn't work the farm anymore. His wife took a promotion, and he took an early retirement and kept the house with a part time job. And that when we fiund out that Cracker was a racial slur. Who knew?
