No it's not. You just see it that way because that was the sacrifice you chose so it's familisr. Someone else, who made the opposite sacrifice could say the same thing and they'd be just as right and wrong about it as you.
You're looking at this all wrong. It does not harm you that someone else chose something different for their life than you did. It doesn't lesson your life or your choice. You're not responsible for any regrets they may have, nor can you saddle them with ones you think they should have. Vice versa. They're not responsible for you feeling sad in what you missed out on or feeling sad that you think they're missing out. Their choice was never yours to make or feel any kind of way about. It belongs to them alone. As yours does to you.
