No, but that phrasing does play in to the idea that social constructs are biologically and evolutionarily part of our make up, or "hardwired". Therefore, if it's part of our genetic makeup, it can't be undone.
There are a lot of "evolutionary" arguments to maintain the status quo. You inadvertently neutralized your own argument by using that language.
We've got to change that language if we want to change that belief and the status quo.
