Neither did I.

I detailed the thinking of someone who is already there, the logic behind it. I just did so without moral equivocation.

Never once did I claim to be speaking for all women or all rape victims.

Never once.

You chose to interpret my words that way. That's you exercising your autonomy of choice, which btw, might also validate a vulnerable person because you're attacking me for something I did not do. Just like many rape victims get attacked for something they did not do, like ask to be raped, by "well meaning" folk who are really just looking for ways to ease their own guilt.

You can't have it both ways. You either respect autonomy or choice or you do not.

Someone who is vulnerable will find validation wherever they look. They'll see "signs" in leaves blowing if that's what they need. It does not help them to continue gaslighting them.

Seriously, dude. All the gaslighting and double standards need to fucking end.
