My sympathy is less for Kate and more for Louis.

Sue me. I'm a mom.

You keep circling back around to the "rivalry". You will get no disagreement from me that it's disgusting, unnecessary, and uncalled for. How is that little boy responsible for it's creation and maintenance? How is a four year old an example for why men best women?

Come on. You know that was too much.

You, too, were making some snide comments that since I believe tantrums are natural, that my child must have hit me throwing them so I was triggered. Also mom shaming.

For the record, No. My Urchling never hit me. She threw a tantrum and a half during her toddler/early childhood years. She did, as Louis did, try to put her hand over my mouth so I wouldn't fuss on her a few times, but she wasn't in the throes of a tantrum then. She was just trying to explain herself.

In Louis' case, he just put those two very normal, very predictable actions together at once. Not a big deal. He's 4.

What you said was every bit as ridiculous as me saying that if your child never "lays hands on you" it must be because you never hug or cuddle them or show them any sign of physical affection because they've learned that touch is bad.

See how ridiculous that is?
