Mostly. But grunge and hip-hop were a dramatic departure from the tucked in polos and Henley "preppy" look that preceeded it. More relaxed. More street. A studies shabbiness, one might say.
I prefer grunge and hip-hop styles too. That said, I liked those styles better whem me wore their pants around their waists. That's not about showing your underwear; it's about how having to walk funny to hold your pants up throws the whole look off for me. It's hard to take men seriously when they duck waddle like clowns trying to look cool. Let's face it, not many can pull off a decent Chaplin.
It's funny, how sometimes behavior follows presentation. Both for the good and the bad.
