Most certainly would if she advocated shaming single fathers for being single dads.

There's a fair few of them out there too but they don't get shamed for being the last one standing and holding the fort. They're not the ones getting blamed for all of society's woes every damn time some tragedy they had jack diddly squat to do with happens.

No. That "behavioral correction" falls on women, even the widows, even the rape survivors who chose or were forced to keep that child, even the abandoned, even the abused who fled for their lives, even the ones who ended the marriage because their husband did not keep his vows, and even the ones who tried for years to get their husband to be more than a bump on a lot in those children's lives and then sadly finally realized they were a single mom in everything but name anyway—might as well cut the dead weight and make it official.

It's the authoritarians amongst us who always to shame women for being sexual beings, but never shame men for not being accountable for their reproductive potential. They're always the quickest to shame women when relstonships go bad, for not defering and pandering to the man as though there could never ever ever be any other reason why things went sour.

Give me a fucking break.

Not only does this song and dance insult all mothers, it insults the children too.

Foul ball.
