Meh. A null value is still not a positive value.
In other words, if you don't care either way you really don't want it to end because you don't/won't act toward that outcome. Sure, you're also choosing not to act toward preventing a successful end of the pandemic (arguable whether or not this is the case).
Some things in life, though, you really can't sit on the fence in that null value. You either want it or you don't. And you conduct yourself accordingly. Because we exist as both individuals and as part of a collective, a society, you can't legitimately say, "I don't have to care. It doesn't affect me." Bullshit. It absolutely affects you — and in unpredictable ways I might add.
Look, people who truly want things work to make it happen. They set goals and make plans to reach those goals. They measure their progress. They seek out what help and resources they might need. They ACT.
If you're not acting, you don't want it. It's really that simple.
