Umair has had an eventful life, having been through 2 bouts of political upheaval and fascism rises and the fallout. People who pay attention to the things he points out are wise. You don’t go into the wilderness without a guide who knows the land or into a mine without a guide who will keep you from getting lost or accidentally trapping yourself by doing something stupid.

It’s a shame so many choose to be so willfully blind and tone police instead of taking responsibility for their own mental landscape and curation.
