Maybe there should be a legal path toward having them committed for mental health or evaluation.

The problem is, until these donut people (good phrasing btw) actually do something heinous, like murder the woman they’re stalking, or shoot up the school they’re attending, all the people surrounded by them are living under threat of their lives, and they know it. It’s untenable to have to entertain a clear and present danger to your safety and your family’s safety long term.

Maybe military should have a stepping back into society program rather than just being discharged.
