Maybe. Maybe not. Just because you can't manage it, doesn't mean she can't.
Another thing, you're assuming she's going through the process the same way you would.
I've thought for a while that she doesn't physically sit and type her content. She dictates and then does a quick edit. That would cut a lot of time and ties in with her choice of style with shorter, almost conversational, punctuated sentences. Being on the spectrum, she has a clearer, well ordered mind when in a zone of focus.
She writes opinion and she keeps up with the news but that doesn't require total attention, so it can be done alongside something else. Most of what she writes is broad knowledge kind of stuff and doesn't really require much research or citation. Though, she does that sometimes too.
Umair Haque publishes every single day, nearly without fail. Pieces that are on average twice as long read to wise and on average have more graphics and citations.
He also a full time job and familial obligations, though I think he is a parent.
Nobody accuses him of being a fraud. Even if they think he's a hack and publishing nothing but doom porn.
Honestly, you guys sound fixated and jealous.
When my kid was roughly the same age as hers I was working a full time job, doing odd jobs as I found them, taking care of her and a parent, kept a house and a small garden, taking classes for myself and keeping up with a cheer sport competitive team schedule for my daughter. I'm a single parent. I don't have backup.
Millions of moms across America have the same schedules. Why do you think we're all so damned tired all the time?
It's not as impossible or as uncommon as you think.
