Male delusion.

I've been catcalled in full sweats, hair in a messy bun, galoshes, covered in dirt, no makeup.

My grandma got catcalled while getting the mail one day in a muu muu. She was, like 64 or so, at the time.

I've also been catcalled as a prepubescent child. So was my sister. So have most of my friends.

So this idea that only attractive women get catcalled is ridiculous. An attempt to justify aggressive male sexual behavior.

If you read the entirety of my last comment you would have picked up on that sometimes men catcall as a means of assuaging having been or feeling emasculated. That would be when they're alone without a male audience.

Still not about the woman. Still the woman just being used. Still just disgusting behavior.
