Long term, it won't work. That's a short view. The Dobbs decision, depending on how far Texas and a few other states push it, may end up bei g the 21st centuries Dredd Scott decision.

You can't have free commerce between states when stepping across an imaginary geographic line gives you full citizenship and civil liberties on one side and rips them away on the other.

Those red states will ve forced to chase after and hound escapees. Blue states will be forced to provide protection and aide to those of their own citizens trapped and imprisoned for being pregnant behind lines.

It'll become an issue attached to literally everything else state to state.
