Lol. Well what you described there is actually prosecutable at least as a civil suit as depraved indifference. That's kind of specific.

The dictionary defines gold digger as a person who forms a relationship with another purely to extract money from them.

"this place is packed with gold diggers"

So your scenario certainly applies but so do mine. It doesn't have to lead to death or even a bad relationship.

Believe it or not, some men prefer gold diggers because they feel it forces the maintenance of a standard (usually regarding looks), gives them an easy out, they don't like sex outside transactional arrangements, they like the control, and they don't want to be nagged about not investing in emotional bonding like you get with normal romantic relationships.

This is understandable, but both parties need to be honest. It's not right to promise one thing and then deliver another.
