Lol. I like super hero movies and 'woke' movies. I'm looking forward to seeing Promising Young Woman. I like other types of movies too.
To me, the problem is that what gets financial support to be made as a movie depends on what is fashionable. As a result, you go through periods where the bulk of movies are one thing or another till the trope gets played to death and people grasp at something different. I think super hero movies will wind down soon.
