Yeah, we need an overhaul. I can see the point and necessity of the electoral college on the beginning.

The founders were against political parties, btw. George Washington spoke of it in a public address around the time he left office.

And money as political contributions should definitely be more regulated and contained. Frankly, political ads should be banned. Imagine if all that money was spent actually educating voters on politics instead of calling each other names?
