Like I said, at the time Gearhart made that address (it came from a lecture at a college, I think) there had been a lot of discourse about sexual segregation and what all that might look like.

Gearhart's lecture was her assessment of how it might be brought to fruition.

As I said, it's flawed thinking. It won't work.

If you ask me, what is missing is proof of concept. That might be achieved by a women's nation.

That's equally flawed for two obvious reasons. You'd have to be able to defend your borders and where would this nation be? Secondly, you'd need to open up citizenship for any woman who can get there anywhere in the world to establish well as a full nation but many of those women will have male children they want and need to bring.
