Kind of like generations of young women who weren't "all that", much less a bag of chips? Like all the ones a man with any "self respect" could only do when slobbering drunk and from behind because she was so fugly. The coyote uglies that you'd rather gnaw your own arm off than wake up next to. The ones you have to throw a towel over their face so you can "suffer" through fucking.

That kind of superficial? Is that what we're talking about?

That's the sort of shit I grew up hearing. Ad nauseum infinitum. Most often to raucous laughter and rounds of high fives or thunderous applause.

Yeah. Some people are superficial? No kidding.

There's also this wiccan adage that comes to bear. What you put out in the world eventually comes back on you threefold. There's another that's a warning of twisting the golden rule, "Do unto others as they'll eventually do also unto you".

I've got no doubt some of this is going on. But, it's not widespread in the real world. It's being hyped up and amplified by the internet.

You and other young men need to fortify your minds against it, stop grousing about it, stop feeding it, and stop normalizing it. Most importantly. Stop chasing after those women or even seeing them. Don't let trash live rent free in your head.
