Just about everything. Think about it. You cannot claim that life is thr most precious thing there is yet build, live in, support, and participate in a civilization that consistently, persistently, and unequivocally values everything under the sun MORE THAN life.

Both statements cannot hold true and it is the height of cognitive dissonance to claim otherwise.

Things that are more important than life:

1. Money
2. Power
3. Precious gems
4. Semi-precious metals
5. Status
6. Identity
7. Territory/land
8. Violence
9. Sex
10. Control

If we put the value of life over any of those things, it would show because no one would be dying over them. Life would he valued more. It would be more precious.

But that's not reality. Reality is that life takes a distant step back from all of these things.
